
Warrington is a large town in England, located on the banks of the River Mersey, 32 km to the east of Liverpool, and 32 km to the west of Manchester. The population of 209 700 (according to the census in 2017) makes Warrington the biggest town in Cheshire. In 1968, it got a status of a New Town. The modern Warrington was finally formed in 1974 by uniting of the County Borough of Warrington with the surrounding areas. The town has a big Unilever factory, that specialised on detergents production. Warrington & Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Warrington Council are the establishments with the highest employers rating. The main operations of the famous company in United Kingdom ESR Technology are located at Warrington. Due to the vast projects of redeveloping, a significant number of serviced offices for rent have appeared in the town, including Warrington business park.
