Coworking spaces - the collaborative office environment – are the latest generation of business centers, which in recent decades have established themselves as an increasingly strong alternative to the traditional office space.
All over the world, new trendy coworking spaces have popped up - in varying shapes and shades – and served as the offices of the future for enterprising freelancers, startups and small businesses.
Close to a square called Sankt Hans Torv, Nomad Workspace has just out the finishing touches on its coworking space, in the beautiful and now disused classicist courthouse from 1849. It’s back building still houses the country's oldest active prison.
Here, the old atmospheric judges’ offices will add patina, renovated stucco and breathtaking authentic plank floors to more than 120 up-to-date social workspaces.
Nomads and enthusiasts
We have created an exciting and exclusive co-working concept for our future nomads, with ideas and inspiration from New York and London boutique hotels and office communities," says Peter Madsen, co-founder of Nomad Workspace.
"Our tenants are typically creative and independent people who have chosen to quit their good and well-established jobs to seek personal flexibility and freedom, and create a livelihood of their talents and skills. They seek a network of like-minded people to connect with and be inspired by.
Instead of sitting alone at home or as a break from the office, these enthusiasts find value-added inspiration by working in the same office space as like-minded people, in evocative spaces and environments like these.”
This new and prominent co-working space is designed with a mix of open office spaces, six major separate offices, conference rooms, interview rooms and a photo studio, a café in the entrance and other inviting cozy corners.
"Right now, gallery owner Peter Amby is just about to finish decorating the house with exciting contemporary art, and we are beginning to sense the mood that is crucial for our working environments and the sense that tenants are going to thrive in Nomad Workspace," says Peter Madsen.
Nomad Workspace’s social network, ‘Nomad Studioes’, will over time provide the framework for events, culture and inspiration for the house’s daily tenants and other businesspeople that are offered access to the value-added network club.
